Our 15-minute consultations provide a safe space to explore how we can help you. Whether you're feeling stuck, frustrated, alone, confused, or want to build a skill or develop your confidence, we have your back. Individual Psychotherapy
If you are looking for a confidential, safe and validating space to share your story, explore your emotions and achieve your personal or relationship goals, individual therapy is a great start. Our sessions range from 50 to 75 minutes.
Couples Therapy
If your relationship feels stuck or unfulfilling and you want to understand what may be getting in the way, couples therapy may be an excellent option for you and your partner. Our couples therapy sessions include relationship history interviews, individual partner interviews, and more than six comprehensive assessments that explore the intricacies of your relationship at a deeper level. You will learn about conflict management, emotional expression, building friendships, intimacy, and developing effective communication skills. We also include evidence-based exercises and interventions proven to make relationships work.
Walk-and-Talk Therapy
Walk-and-talk therapy combines the therapeutic advantages of being outdoors with traditional psychotherapy. You and your therapist will meet outdoors (typically at a local park) to discuss your concerns while you walk, sit or explore the outdoors. This style of therapy incorporates nature, movement and gentle exercise. Currently only offered in the summer within the Durham Region.
Single-Session Therapy
Single-session therapy is a solution-focused, strengths-centred, evidence-based model of therapy that encourages problem-solving, exploration and resource management. You will meet with your therapist to achieve a goal or solution guided by your strengths, values, circumstances and resources. These sessions will work well if you feel stuck with an imminent or pressing concern or decision and need a guiding hand to help you take the next step. You have the choice to continue receiving therapy after you complete your single session meeting.
